At the presentation event of the Giro d’Italia 2024 profile and route, which took place on Friday night, notable cyclists like Primoz Roglic and Jai Hindley took the stage, but only the Italian Filippo Ganna confirmed his participation.
With almost 70 kilometers of Individual Time Trial announced in the route, a specialist in this type of race like Ganna believes there will be opportunities for success.
“It will be a demanding Giro,” predicts the Italian Time Trial Champion from INEOS Grenadiers, who also participated in the last edition of the Vuelta a España. “My focus will be on the two time trials, of which the second, in Desenzano, may be the most suitable for me. Anyway, winning a stage of the Giro is special, so I want to do it again,” concludes the winner of the Time Trial in the 21st stage of the 2021 Giro d’Italia.
